Grandpa's Scare

The Valentine party was a huge success. I managed to be a server and not spill anything on anyone. They had a guy come in to Karaoke sing. He did mostly country & was really good. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Grandpa woke me up around noon so that I could get up and get ready to go EAT again. We went into Okeechobee and had dinner with their friends Randy & Flo. We went to Golden Corral. It was really good.

Grandma came home from church last night & seems to be having some type of allergic reaction again. This time we think it might be the band-aids she put on her nose. She doesn't know if she is allergic to the laytex. This morning her face is pretty red & swollen. Thankfully we have a Dr. appointment this afternoon. They might be removing her stitches.

Last night we had a scare. Grandpa got up to use the bathroom and took another spill. It was really weird for me because I woke up at about 2:30 because I thought I heard something. I thought I had been dreaming and laid their for a while. Something kept telling me to get up and go check on him but I thought I was overreacting. However, all of a sudden I swear I felt someone tap me on my shoulder & that's when I thought maybe I better go check on him. Sure enough, there was Grandma standing over him as he laid on the floor. At first Grandma said he hurt his back & I was ready to call 911. Grandpa said to wait and try and help him up off the floor. The poor guy hardly had enough strength to crawl to his chair and get back in it. I guess he must have hit his back on something when he fell. It seems to be ok today. He goes to the Dr. for another blood transfusion tomorrow. Hopefully it will give him a boost again.
