Therapy for Grandpa

Yesterday we went & signed Grandpa up for physical therapy. They will be working on his arm & legs to try and regain some strength for him. He is such a clown. All he could think of to ask the nurse is "will I have a pretty female" & "does she do massages?" Such a silly old man! Needless to say we also had to hear some women bashing jokes. On the way home I stopped and got him some of the yummy "fresh" french fries from the new restaurant "Five Guys". He ate them on the way home and really enjoyed them.

When I took him to the neurologist, the other day, I yelled to 2 ladies getting off the elevator. "Have him hold the door for me I'll be right there". Just as I got to the door I hear him reply to the ladies " I was trying to ditch her". Of course the 2 older ladies were shocked at first but then laughed their heads off at him. He really enjoyed that! SUCH ABUSE I MUST TAKE! (lol)

Grandma's nose seems to be healing. She says it feels real itchy & pricky. The benadryl took the other redness & itchiness away that she was getting from the antibiotic reaction. However, it has made her very sleepy.

Penny & Bob had us all over for dinner. Bob made his famous "boiled dinner". It was delicious as usual. Penny always has lots of goodies to go along with it. (my favorite is the cucumbers with onions and sour cream) Grandma, Penny & I went to bingo after dinner. Penny won the $60.00 jackpot and Grandma & I each won $10.00. wooohooo! We did have fun though.

Tonight is the big Valentine dinner dance, down at the porch. I have been chosen to be a server.
I'm not expecting any big tips! It should be fun though. Something to get me out of the house for a while. I'll post later or tomorrow & tell about any antics that happen there.
