Florida Bound

Today was a very intersting day. I got up at 4:30 a.m. to head to the airport. On the way, I realized that I should've left at least an hour earlier. For some reason, I thought my flight was at 7:00. However, it was really 20 minutes earlier. Upon arrival, I found that the line to check baggage was extremely long. Lucky for me one of the agents sent me and some others down to the parking garage level to check in. It was much less of a line. After checking in and going through security, I had to really book it to make my flight. I was one of the last to board.

The flight was very pleasant as I sat next to a very nice gentleman from Atlanta and a young college girl who said she had just completed her masters in some type of botany or ? . They were both very friendly and the flight went by rather quickly.

Upon arriving in Atlanta, I had to change planes and went directly to the gate. I thought I was at the correct gate when I heard over the intercom that flight 8829 bound for West palm was making last call for boarding. I decided to check it out and guess what? it was my flight. So, I was also the last one to board on that flight too. What a stressful morning.

When I went to pickup my baggage, I hired a skycap and was telling him about my close calls with boarding. I was joking and said hopefully my luggage made it. With the luck I was having I would probably have a problem. Well guess what? My second bag was the very last to come out. I had to wait and be worried for about 5 minutes. Of course we got a good laugh out of that too.

As soon as I had my luggage, I called Grandma to let her know where I was. Well, guess what again? They were having car trouble. Luckily, they were able to fix th problem and I didn't have to wait too long.

Needless to say, it has been a very long day and I am beat. Grandpa wants to go to town tomorrow to have lunch with a friend. Grandma and I are going to go shopping.
I'll post again tomorrow and let you know how things are going.

And Oh Yeah, I forgot to pack my Bras! Other than that, I seem to have everything else I need.
(except for the new can of (expensive) hairspray I put in my carry on!)

Nighty Night!
